It’s December, which means it’s almost Christmas – also my favorite time of the year. I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas, because my family doesn’t, but I think it’s one of the reasons why I love it so much. The merry atmosphere and all the festivities, coupled with the nonexistent familial obligation that comes with it, makes Christmas my favorite time of the year. Also because it’s like, 2 weeks before my birthday.
It also means the end of the year is approaching, and this usually means time for a new planner (lol), so I can write goals for the coming year and promise myself I’ll be more organized in the coming year. That, is usually followed by a long list of resolutions, and what comes after is laughing out loud while re-reading the items on the list because, who the fuck are you kidding?
I will be turning 22 in 2018, very early in the year, so I hope I really would make some changes to my life, ha. 2017 has been a particularly (and consistently) difficult year, and I am really, really glad that we’re coming to the end of it.
Anyway, I will be flying to Australia on Monday (Dec 11) to be with my family (yep) for my sister’s graduation (congrats Anni!). So that should be fun. Maybe I will stuff myself with Golden Gaytime.
Sounds like a solid, solid plan.
I WILL WRITE MORE I PROMISE.
